I suppose I should say I used it for a year, but I'm also no longer taking it. initially I had no problems and it did seem to reduce my blood sugars (tho not substantially), Since December I have had an insane amount of back and hip pain/uti/yeast infections that have rendered my life miserable. I've had very dry mouth/dehydration feelings since the beginning. Three days off the meds and my hip pain is gone, I no longer have dry mouth and my blood sugars are staying where they've been the benefit has not outweighed the enduring that misery. I got my first period when I was 11 and was regular up until I was 14 and then they stopped. Fast forward to 2015 and I hadn't had a period at all for 5 years. I went to the doctor yesterday and my results were TT 299 FT 8.8 and E2 24.1. My doctor seemed to think that I'm too young for TRT gel or injections and decided to use Clomid 50 mg for 4 weeks to see where I stand. He is a highly respected doctor and the only one out of the 5 I've gone to that acted like hormones existed and could cause problems, but I'm second guessing him. I had wasted 3 years ignoring my symptoms, so 6 more months wasn't a huge deal. I'm really tired of dealing with these symptoms at 22 and I'm honestly considering not taking the Clomid so he'll put me on actual TRT. I noticed an immediate improvement after a few days of all symptoms. I say go for the clomid, you're young and have plenty of time. Has anyone on here used Clomid for low testosterone and what would your advice be? Unfortunately the improvements disappeared after about a month and although I do feel better than before I still feel pretty bad. If you can somehow jumpstart your testosterone production then that'd be awesome. Also I feel that further evaluation needs to be done to determine why a 22 year old has the levels of a 75 year old with diabetes. Just didn't work out that way for me I'm 32 btw. They're going to teach me how to inject myself next week. Waiting for change hahah Clomid will absolutely raise your testosterone level (likely probably close to triple). Started showing symptoms at about 27So I got my first shot...200mg thought that was kind of high but I'll see what they give me next week. That being said, it may not really help many of your symptoms. The Young and Steroids - Forums Should HCG or Clomid also be prescribed when doing testosterone.
